1.1 angle types

Look at the four openings. Notice the width. Square corner is right. Smaller is acute. Wider is obtuse. Past a straight line is reflex. Name the gap, then you know which missing angle you are after.

1.2 angle facts

Look at the crossing. Facing angles: vertically opposite. Sitting on one straight line: angles on that line. Filling one point: angles at a point. Name the job, that finds the missing angle.

1.3 parallel lines

Look at the two parallels and the cut. Same corner place: corresponding. The Z pair: alternate. Between the parallels, same side: interior. Name the pair so you can find the missing angle.

1.4 named regular polygons

Look at the regular pentagon, hexagon, octagon, and decagon. On a regular one, sides and angles match. That is the symmetry. Name the shape. A missing side or angle has a match.

1.6 interior/exterior angle sum

Look at any convex polygon. Corners inside: interior angle sum. Turns outside: exterior angle sum. Name which sum you need. That is how you find the missing angle.
